VOLKTEK's INS-8008 is designed for building automation application. The switch has 8 ports with each port featuring auto-negotiation and auto MDI/MDI-X detection. Existing 10Mbps networks can now be upgraded effortlessly to higher speed 100Mbps Fast Ethernet networks. The INS-8008 8-port density can be used to create multiple segments to alleviate client congestion and provide dedicated bandwidth to each user node. The INS-8008 is a cost-effective solution to keep up with the constant demands for emerging IP-based industry communication needs.
 
Featuring 8 independent 10/100 Fast Ethernet switch ports, the INS-8008 switch delivers unrivalled performance for small to medium-sized networks. The unit offers a cost-efficient 8-port density along with Auto-Negotiation capabilities wrapped together in a simple to setup and install solution.
 
The INS-8008 maximizes your data output by supporting full wire speed on all ports at a rate of 148,800 packets per second. Store-and-Forward switching architecture also provides low latency.
